EX-s Series (Split-mount)
The EX-s Series GigE split-mount radios are high capacity microwave backhaul systems operating in ANSI/FCC and ITU/ETSI licensed frequency bands from 6 to 40 GHz. EX-s Series GigE radios are fully software configurable and, with the ability to carry both native Ethernet and native TDM, designed to support any TDM to IP migration plan. Available TDM interfaces include 4-16xT1/E1, 1-4xDS3, 2xOC-3 and 2xSTM-1, with per carrier Ethernet capacity up to 366 Mbps full-duplex and available capacity aggregation supporting up to 1+ Gbps speeds.
EX-i Series (All-indoor)
The EX-i Series of all-indoor long-haul radios includes 2.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 5 GHz and ANSI/FCC 6 and 11 GHz systems offering flexible, upgradeable native Ethernet and native TDM for low, medium and high capacity microwave backhaul applications with support for up to 16xT1/E1, 4xDS3, 1xOC3 and up to 500 Mbps aggregate Ethernet throughput per carrier. EX-i Series systems inlcude the most widely used sub-6 GHz mobile backhaul radios in North America as well as the first and only semi-protected licensed radios available.
EX-r Series (All-outdoor)
The EX-r Series of all-outdoor radios includes 4.5, 4.9 and 5 GHz TDD systems offering flexible native Ethernet and native TDM transport for low, medium and high capacity microwave backhaul and connectivity applications, delivering up to a class-leading 440 Mbps sustained aggregate Ethernet throughput and available Gigabit Ethernet support.
6 GHz Capacity Expansion
Exalt offers a unique solution to the problem of extending the life of legacy 6 GHz Part 101 microwave backhaul systems that have reached their capacity limits. In addition, Exalt makes it possible for multi-radio, 6 + 5 GHz capacity aggregation in a single Gigabit Ethernet interface. The Capacity Expansion Kit makes use of the license-exempt 5 GHz spectrum and allows the addition of TDM or up to 200 Mbps of aggregate Ethernet capacity per radio using an Exalt 5 GHz system.
