Exalt Communications Strengthens Senior Management Team with New Executive Appointments

Newly expanded team brings extensive wireless knowledge and leadership experience in
Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations

CAMPBELL, Calif., February 5, 2008 – Exalt Communications, the leading innovator of next generation wireless backhaul systems, today announced the addition of four executives to its senior management team, led by Amir Zoufonoun, President and Chief Executive Officer and Gordana Pance, Chief Operating Officer. The appointments include Sam Lynch as Vice President of Sales, Michelle Pampin as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Robert Schlaefli as Vice President of Operations, and Brad Stribling as Vice President of Engineering.

The newly hired executives bring more than 75 years of experience in the wireless backhaul marketplace and complement the existing team with over 500 cumulative years of backhaul experience. The additional depth of industry and management experience will fuel rapid expansion across all functional areas of the company. Besides implementing the necessary business systems and infrastructure to sustain accelerated growth, the new team will focus on the strategy to build and capitalize on the rising demand for next generation wireless backhaul solutions across all carrier and enterprise segments worldwide.

New Executive Backgrounds
Sam Lynch, Vice President of Sales has over 20 years of experience successfully leading revenue growth and strategic account acquisition with leading wireless and telecommunications service providers. His career includes senior sales leadership positions with ADC, PowerWave, NEC, Tellabs and Southern Bell. Lynch has extensive experience in both emerging and mature market segments, and in the recruiting, training and management of ‘gold standard’ sales teams and support organizations.

Michelle Pampin, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development has spent the past 10 years in the telecommunications market, most recently as Director, Corporate Marketing at JDSU. Prior to joining JDSU, Pampin was Global Strategic Marketing Director at Harris Corporation's Microwave Division (now Harris Stratex Networks), where she analyzed global mobile market trends and defined the introduction of a market leading microwave platform. Pampin brings extensive international insights with fluency in multiple languages and wide-ranging professional experience in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe.

Robert Schlaefli, Vice President of Operations has over 25 years of experience in operations management for high technology firms. Most recently Schlaefli headed operations for start-ups Teak Technologies and Loea Corporation, a manufacturer of 70/80GHz point-to-point digital radios. Previously, Schlaefli was the Vice President of Global Operations for Stratex Networks (now Harris Stratex Networks) and served as Vice President and General Manager of DMC Stratex Networks NZ Ltd. in Wellington New Zealand. Earlier in his career, Mr. Schlaefli served as Division President at Signal Technologies specializing in the development and manufacture of microwave products serving telecommunications and defense markets.

Brad Stribling, Vice President of Engineering has an extensive track record developing products for the communications market for over 30 years. Stribling comes to Exalt from Sierra Monolithics where, as SVP of Engineering, he led the development of WiMAX transceiver chips and other communication products. Stribling earlier served as General Manager with L-3 Communication where he led the development and introduction of high performance BWA products using chips he developed as VP of Engineering while he was at Iospan Wireless, a developer of MIMO variants of 802.16, whose rights were later sold to Intel. Earlier in his career, Stribling was Engineering VP for Dolby Laboratories, Rose Communications and Adicom Wireless following his early years in Engineering and management with Hewlett-Packard.
